Time-lapse video can be stunning beautiful, or simply amusing, but without specialized equipment and tedious post processing image software, they are somewhat difficult to create. But a new digital time-lapse camera available from Brinno makes it easy and worry-free. The most intriguing feature about this camera is that it does all the work of putting your JPEG images together for you. No more long and tedious stitching in video programs - your series of images is automatically saved as an AVI file, ready to watch or upload to YouTube. Brinno’s Time Lapse Cam (TLC-200) will probably be your best bet.
Furthermore, It is Long Lasting and incrediblely stable.
Some may wondering Is this the big deal? long lasting battery and stable? The reason you would use these un plug time lapse cameras is simply because there is no power extention or it is hard to set up while shooting. Fankly speaking , Many of my friends tried other similar products but ended with two three major prblemes:
(1) Carera crashed: After around half to one hour of operation, It was dead or no reponse. Reason: bad photo memery management (2) Running out of power: Only lasting around 5,000 shots or maybe 5-6 hours. Reason: They were not designed to be the proprietary time lapse usage. (3) Image quality: not satisfied. why? the imaging engine is not doing good job on image developing and no tolereance check
New king arrives---Brinno TLC 200 time lapse camera Brinno TLC 200 first came to me in 2012 with new design philosophy --- very stylish and unbelievable power efficient. the 4x AA battery can take . I tried the time intercal at 5 secs a shot and guess what? This TLC 200 lasted by my window for 20 days!! And I really have to confess this is absolutely the champion of gas saver in automobile. It is again, so stable and reliable that beats all the competing time lapse cameras.
Image quality arguments: Why not using DSLR for time lapse video? Nothing can be better than DSLR in image quality. I won't, however, use my DSLR for time lapse video creation. Only one reason counts--- the life of DSLR's shutter. it is said --1,000,000 shots total. Taking the same example, The TLC 200 lasts for 20 days for 300,000 shots. It is very likely My DSLR will be finished for slightly more than 60 days if shooting at 5 sec intervals. What a in convenient truth! Dislike For the never satisfied greed for better quality. I'd like to see more add on lens or may be better sensors for low lux. and water proof is needed but not 100% suitable for brinno TLC 200. but i just tried a new method called "Liquidpel" it seems working by spending 59 box. WhatI can say now ---So far so good. Update continued.......
